It was kind of bleeding today and has been leaving yellow-y crusties on her onesies. But its wise for a pediatrician to take a look to be sure everything is fine. Pediatricians will sometimes put a dab of silver nitrate on it around 4 weeks of age if it hasnt fallen off to.
My baby had his cord still attached after one week and the Dr. Put this silver stuff around it to help it fall off. I thinks she said it was called silver nitrate.
